Partnering for Impact:

Center for Birth Justice Support & Technical Assistance

At the Center for Birth Justice (CBJ), we believe in scaling impact through community-partnered practices. Our approach is deeply rooted in mutual aid, connection, support, and collaboration. We operate with the understanding that we are stronger when we each lend our best capacity and work to others. Our support framework is not just a business transaction; it’s an offering that is protective and helpful, sharing the benefit of what we’ve learned with others. We aim to leverage collective strengths to scale our impact and advance equity in birth justice.

Our Support Framework

Key Features: Affiliated faculty receive up to 10 hours of free support across our core areas: communications, design, operations, and community engagement. Services are high-level, strategic, or consultative, offering expertise, advice, guidance, or feedback that can be applied to advance academic or research initiatives.

Example Services: Strategic advice on messaging, branding consultations for accessibility and engagement, guidance on community engagement strategies or outreach programs, basic networking introductions, and research and evaluation best practices workshops.

Tier 2: Organization Affiliation – Tailored Support for Impact

You are an organization requiring year-round, tailored support for their initiatives.

Key Features: Provides comprehensive, ongoing support available for a fee, tailored specifically to organizational needs. Services involve more detailed, hands-on, and long-term support, often including full-scale implementation. This tier is outside the scope of the Faculty Affiliate program.
