Born from the UCSF California Preterm Birth Initiative (PTBi), the Center for Birth Justice (CBJ) is transitioning into a permanent and dynamic research center. We are building and amplifying a pioneering model for transformative change. Guided by our core values, including anti-racism, justice, and authentic community partnership, we are devoted to eliminating racial inequities in birth outcomes for Black families.
